Accepted Payments at Roadside Stations

1. Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB)

Virtually all central cash registers at souvenir halls and restaurants accept cards. Ideal for buying premium regional items or local beef.

2. E-Money (Suica, iD, WAON, nanaco)

Commonly accepted at farm direct produce lanes and ticket-operated food courts. WAON enjoys high acceptance in regions close to Aeon distribution hubs.

3. QR Code Payments (PayPay, Rakuten Pay, d払い)

The most versatile option, frequently accepted even at outdoor ice cream stalls and individual grower stalls.

Watch Out for Outdoor Kiosks & Vending Machines

While central registers are modern, independent food stalls on the patio or legacy beverage vending machines often remain cash-only. Keep some coins handy.
